With her pitch Miah Maddock-Hodgins emerged as the winner with her venture, MCR Education Hub, an inclusive educational community aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and physical wellbeing. MCR Education Hub is dedicated to supporting young people who face barriers to mainstream schooling, such as SEND learners and those in elective home education.

Comm-Unity Hub, a business created by SEND students from Skills Centre Plus, has won the 2024 Tycoon Enterprise Competition at the Peter Jones Foundation Awards Ceremony. The team developed an innovative solution to help local communities with limited access to support services. As a result, they received a £1,000 award from entrepreneur and Dragons' Den star Peter Jones CBE.

The Peter Jones Foundation held its Race for Enterprise fundraiser at the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit on Wednesday 25^th September, drawing remarkable support from businesses and individuals alike. The event was a resounding success, with numerous contributions making a significant impact, including that of Leeds-based artist Toni Thornton.

The Foundation held an exhilarating day of motorsport at the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit on Wednesday 25^th September. The 120K raised will directly support the Foundation’s mission to empower young people across the UK through entrepreneurship education.

£150K was raised at this year’s Charity Shoot. This vital funding will be used to fund key educational programmes to support schools across the UK. Programmes such as the Tycoon Enterprise Competition which enables students to start and run their own businesses.

Al Diyafah High School in Dubai has swept the board in this year’s Tycoon UAE Competition. Run by UK-based charity, the Peter Jones Foundation, Tycoon is an annual competition that provides students from Key Stages 2 through to 5 with the opportunity to set up and run a business in school, developing essential skills along the way.

At this year’s Tycoon Awards and PJEA Graduation Ceremony, Anectote was crowned the 2023 Overall Winners of the Tycoon Enterprise Competition. The Tycoon team from Wycombe Abbey was awarded £1,000 investment by Peter Jones CBE at Hampton Court Palace.

At this year’s Tycoon Awards and PJEA Graduation Ceremony, Leicester College student, Jevean Barryclough was announced as the 2023 winner. Jevean pitched Da Goat Clothing, a business that has turned her love for sewing and upcycled fashion into a successful brand.

The Peter Jones Foundation was delighted to round off a successful day of fundraising on Friday 7th July 2023 to raise £172,000 to support young people in business.

The Peter Jones Foundation has been supporting enterprise and entrepreneurship education for nearly 20 years with over 5,000 young people graduating from our flagship Peter Jones Enterprise Academy (PJEA) programme . With the generous support of the Commercial Education Trust (CET), in 2019, we began a journey to better understand the longer-term impact of our PJEA programme and to develop an alumni programme that gave our graduates ongoing support, post-18, whatever pathway they followed.

This year saw strong competition with many hopefuls looking to receive the £5,000 investment from Peter Jones CBE, star of BBC’s Dragon’s Den.

Sambar Jewellery came out on top as the 2022 overall winners of the Tycoon Enterprise Competition and have been awarded £1,000 to invest in the future of their business.

Four talented young entrepreneurs have earned the chance to pitch their business to star of Dragons’ Den Peter Jones CBE. With a £7,000 business investment up for grabs, and a £10,000 total prize pot, these young founders will take part in a Dragons’ Den style pitch chaired by Peter Jones CBE, and a network of celebrated business figures.

Last Monday, a team of students from Badminton School, Bristol, were crowned as the overall winners of the Tycoon Enterprise Competition and presented with £1,000 to fund the continued growth of their business, The Citrus Way.
