The Peter Jones Foundation Successfully Raises £150K at Charity Shoot Fundraiser to Empower Young Entrepreneurs

The Peter Jones Foundation was thrilled to wrap up a successful day of fundraising on Wednesday 3rd July at the prestigious Royal Berkshire Shooting School, hosted by our Founder and Chairman Peter Jones CBE. This venue, situated near Pangbourne amongst 70 acres of scenic English countryside provided the perfect environment to hold our annual Clay Pigeon Shoot fundraiser filled with laughter, networking, and spirited competition.

There were many who came out in support and we were honoured to have in our attendance, the UK’s biggest and brightest business leaders, television personalities, and philanthropists. Those in attendance included Touker Suleyman, Entrepreneur and Dragon on the BBC hit series Dragon’s Den; John Terry, former Chelsea, England and Aston Villa Football Captain, and James Jordan, popular English ballroom dancer and choreographer.

Chris Mills won the coveted title of Top Shooter and was presented with his prize by Peter Jones CBE.

Quinton’s Crusaders secured the Top Team position with members Simon Quinton Smith, Josh Quinton Smith, Patrick Quinton Smith, and Tom Clive happily receiving their prizes.

£150K was raised at this year’s Charity Shoot. This vital funding will be used to fund key educational programmes to support schools across the UK. Programmes such as the Tycoon Enterprise Competition which enables students to start and run their own businesses. Students engage in friendly competition alongside other student-led start-ups from across the country and learn valuable life skills along the way.

Peter Jones CBE said:

“Providing young people with the opportunity to gain life skills and nurture their entrepreneurial passions is what we are all about as a charity. Our fundraising days makes this incredible meaningful work possible, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to all our supporters. Business changed my life, and I am delighted that we can change many more lives with the money raised at today’s PJF Shoot event.”

At we reflect on our work as a charity, we express immense gratitude to all the individuals, businesses, and entrepreneurs that have supported our mission over the years. Through the exchange of resources and knowledge and supporting qualifications in enterprise and entrepreneurship, the Foundation supports thousands of young people across the UK, UAE, and China. As we approach 20 years since Peter Jones CBE established the charity, we look forward to your continued support.

We welcome you to join our next charity fundraiser; Race for Enterprise, taking place at the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit on Wednesday 25th September 2024. This will provide an opportunity to support the Foundation and enjoy a unique and exhilarating driving experience.
