We are delighted to welcome Cambourne Village College as the latest Peter Jones Enterprise Academy, joining a prestigious network dedicated to nurturing young entrepreneurial talent across the UK. This exciting partnership will equip students with the practical skills, knowledge, and experience needed to thrive in the modern business world.
Developed by renowned entrepreneur and star of Dragons’ Den, Peter Jones CBE, in partnership with Pearson (Edexcel), the UK’s largest educational awarding body, the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy offers tailored courses that give young people a head starts in their careers. Whether students aim to become entrepreneurs or continue their education, the Academy provides the support into those pathways.
Students aged 16-19 enrol onto the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy at Cambourne Village College, where the BTEC Enterprise and Entrepreneurship course allows students to gain hands-on experience in real-world business scenarios, building the skills essential for future success in any industry.
The National Entrepreneur of the Year competition is a highlight of the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy programme. Students who enter the competition undergo a selection process, with finalists invited to pitch their business ideas directly to Peter Jones CBE and an esteemed panel of judges, with the winner receiving a £5,000 to invest in their business.
