"I believe that life is what you make of it."
“I decided to join the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy after completing my A-Levels. I felt that school had helped me with exams but didn’t benefit me in the real working world.
I had a business idea to sell a range of men’s cosmetics intended to give them the same privileges as women by hiding any imperfections or scaring and boosting their self confidence.
I had a tough time whilst on the course due to a serious illness, causing me to miss three months of work. Despite my illness, I was determined to continue and I achieved a triple star distinction at the end of the course.
I was also delighted to win the Inspirational Student Award 2014 at this year’s graduation ceremony held at Freemasons’ Hall in London. I believe that life is what you make of it. Nothing is impossible if you work hard enough. If you are passionate about something and you work hard enough and believe in yourself, you will achieve. My journey at the Academy, despite being a struggle has taught me to never give up.
I am now starting a foundation degree in business and management where I hope to extend my knowledge even further before returning to my business idea in the future.”
