Launched by the Foundation in July 2012, Tycoon in Schools is a free national enterprise competition, which aims to encourage the nation’s budding entrepreneurs to get involved in business by giving them a start-up loan to run a business at school.
The competition has continued to expand each year, with nearly double the number of students participating in 2014 compared to 2012, and the 2015 competition is already bigger and better! By taking part in the initiative, teachers are helping to stimulate a more enterprising culture within their school or college, which will have a lasting impact on thousands of students across the country.
In previous years, the Tycoon in Schools Awards Ceremony has been held at Buckingham Palace, hosted by HRH, The Duke of York KG, Patron of the Peter Jones Foundation. Take a look at the highlights from the previous years on the Tycoon in Schools website.
