Kirklees College Students Wow the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy with their Creative Business Advert

Peter Jones Enterprise Academy students from Kirklees College were crowned winners of a challenge set by the Academy, in conjunction with photography business stalwarts, Canon and Jessops. 

Students Devonte Brown, Tom Rowlands, Tom Scholefield, Josh Saunier and Tristan Whylie came together and applied for ‘The Advert’ challenge – a task that required them to create a brand new business advert, using only Canon photography equipment.

Hundreds of students from Peter Jones Enterprise Academies across the country came together yesterday to celebrate their graduation at a special ceremony held at Freemasons’ Hall in London. 

£140,000 raised at the Charity Shoot!

A whopping £140,000 was raised by generous friends, sponsors and supporters of the Peter Jones Foundation yesterday at the annual charity shoot day! Taking place at the prestigious Royal Berkshire Shooting School, in aid of the Peter Jones Foundation, Peter Jones CBE was joined by fellow ‘Dragons’ Touker Suleyman, Nick Jenkins and Sarah Willingham, as well as Olympic Gold swimmer Mark Foster and TV personality Tim Lovejoy.

Six of the country’s brightest and best young business minds yesterday competed for the prestigious National Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 award in an exciting boardroom battle at Peter Jones CBE’s Marlow HQ.

PJEA students win University of Leicester’s Entrepreneur of the Future competition

Three Peter Jones Enterprise Academy students recently won the ‘Best Presentation Award’ at the University of Leicester’s annual Entrepreneur of the Future competition. 

Leicester College students Ben Webbe, Burhannudin Burhannudin and Paige Kendall successfully pitched their business idea, Club Culture, to judges at the University of Leicester last month. 

Club Culture is an app that connects club goers with venues, events, and promotional offers, helping people save money on a night out.
