After the Awards: What’s next for our young entrepreneurs?

Calling all ambitious PJEA students - the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy Awards are just around the corner! The Awards are the highlight of our calendar and a celebration of the incredible work students undertake throughout the year.

PJEA graduate Jessica Leach: Young Entrepreneur to Watch

We are delighted to share the news that Peter Jones Enterprise Academy graduate Jessica Leach has been named one of 2017’s Young Entrepreneurs to Watch by Startups.co.uk

Jessica’s business, the Hair Bears, is described as a start-up that is “as much about helping people as it is about generating revenue.” 

PJEA students win top prizes in local entrepreneurship awards

Two Peter Jones Enterprise Academy students, Gemma Faulkner and Henry Matthews, have been awarded first place and runner-up in this year’s Chiltern Young Entrepreneur Awards. 

PJEA graduate Jacob Knowles expands printing business into innovative educational products

Former Peter Jones Enterprise Academy student Jacob Knowles started his own business, Empine Printing, just over 18 months ago. The company prints a wide variety of collateral, from stationery and signs to marketing materials and calendars.

Recently, Jacob has extended his business into new markets with Empine Education, a service dedicated to printing personalised educational materials, such as exercise books and prospectuses.
