Students at Thornton Primary School in Birmingham have been inspired by the Tycoon in Schools competition this year. The school has shown its entrepreneurial spirit, with five teams in the nationwide competition.

Westborough High School helps West Yorkshire students get equal access to technology facilities

Budding entrepreneurs at Westborough High School taking part in Tycoon in Schools 2016 are seeking to help young people in West Yorkshire get equal access to technology with their computer recycling and leasing business.

Nearly one third of pupils at Westborough High School do not have access to a computer or laptop at home, so they have to stay behind after school to have the same chances as other students.

Budding entrepreneurs as young as five at Ludham Primary School and Nursery in Norfolk have been busy trading their wares in the Tycoon in Schools competition.

The school has been a hive of activity, with three teams of children buzzing with excitement, manufacturing products and calculating costs.
